If it takes a village to raise a child, what does it take to start a revolution? How about a bunch of really smart, driven, and dedicated people drawn from every corner of the realm? Because that’s what we had at this year’s DiabetesMine Innovation Summit, held Nov. 21 at Stanford School of Medicine. And as in previous years, we asked participants to break up in small groups and discuss ways to effect change.
On Nov. 20, we hosted the third-ever DiabetesMine D-Data ExChange forum near the campus of Stanford University in Palo Alo, CA.
This was my first time attending, and I was awed by the brains and knowledge in the room. I knew going in that it was going to be an amazing experience to see these 85+ diabetes tech leaders coming together, literally moving the needle on innovation in real-time.

When it comes to diabetes data, I am on Cloud Nine these days thanks to finally being connected to the whole do-it-yourself CGM in the Cloud/Nightscout system that allows me to easily display and share my BG numbers and make better decisions based on that information.
