When I featured the Joe Toucan Diabetes Project a few weeks ago, created by Hollywood producer and diabetes advocate Rocky Lang, I discovered that Rocky is not the only D-advocate in the LA-based Lang family. As you’ve probably read by now, Roche Diabetes was brave enough to host a ‘Social Media Summit‘ for the second year in a row last week, inviting a group of diabetes bloggers and online advocates to commune and interact. Technology blogger and Type 1 diabetic Scott Hanselman works for Microsoft, and is quite famous in software developer circles. As it happens, he’s been wearing the brand new “Revel” combo Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) system from Medtronic for six days now, and has just posted his thoughts on his tech blog, Computer Zen.
