Suddenly, it seems to be raining diabetes iPhone apps. Many of them offer sophisticated graphing of your glucose data, or educational materials, medication reminders, training videos, and even links to purchase supplies. Notice that NOT ONE of the logging apps offers a way around manual entry of your numbers — ugh!

Emily Allen, winner of one of three Grand Prizes in this year’s DiabetesMine Design Challenge, does not have diabetes. But boy, does this gal “get it”! The iPhone integration dreams of many a diabetic are coming true at last!!
Sanofi-Aventis made history today at the annual EASD (European Association for the Study of Diabetes) conference, if you ask me.
