We’ve all seen the headlines claiming that “Diet Soda Raises Diabetes Risk!” Even the American Diabetes Association is touting how diet sodas can lead to metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes. But that claim — and other health claims like it — are also frequently debunked or dismissed.
