I get loads of cookbooks sent to me to review. Luckily, I love to cook. But honestly, who the heck has time to make a fancy meal from scratch more than once or twice a week? Happy Independence Day, All! Well now, this seems like a good day to talk a little about our “closet diabetes rebels,” aka the small — or not so small — things we all do to assert our independence over this stupid disease.
