Slowly but surely, using the Internet for your health needs is becoming as mainstream as shopping on the web: no longer futuristic, but is it for everyone? And perhaps more importantly, are mainstream commercial health platforms from companies like Google and Microsoft really useful for people with specific chronic illnesses? iPod, iPhone, iPump, iPort, iV-drip (?)… so no reason to look surprised when you hear about another futuristic diabetes technology company by the name of iSense.
This one, a privately held company based in Oregon, has been working on developing a “minimally invasive” continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) for about ten years. (I’m guessing the company name sounded a lot more futuristic back then.)

I’m normally not into selling or aggressively plugging specific products here, but I’m making an exception today for a couple of new Diabetes Emergency Supplies that could really help our community.
