Test Strip News: The PQQ Gremlin

The relative accuracy of blood glucose meters has of course been in the spotlight of late, since the FDA held a hearing to “crack down” on this issue last Fall. Funny, but I always assumed this had more to do with the technology inside the meter than the test strips themselves. Silly me.

Quick Brief: the Roche Social Media Summit

Thirty-seven diabetes bloggers and online advocates convened here in Florida Tuesday, hosted by Roche Diabetes, for the second annual Social Media Summit — a rare in-person gathering where we can exchange ideas over advocacy efforts and discuss how we’d like to “change the world,” or at least diabetes care in the United States.
