Today, Nov. 9, is annual Diabetes Blog Day, thanks to community member Gina Capone, who founded this effort six years ago. It’s a day for us D-Bloggers to rally, and try to combine our collective voices to rustle up some attention from the outside world. A perfect effort for National Diabetes Awareness Month, of course!

This week is my very first time at the annual BlogWorld & New Media Expo in Las Vegas. In a word: BIG.
The hotel seems to spread for miles and miles, including six restaurants, a huge casino and a lower level with sweeping spa and beach area (no, I haven’t checked that out yet). My hotel room here is very nearly bigger than the one my whole family is living in back home. Errr.
