High five to illustrator Jerry King, one of the most published and prolific cartoonists in America, who creates over 200 cartoons each month for websites, magazines, newspapers, greeting cards, etc., worldwide. It’s not often you get to meet someone who actually worked directly with Dr. Elliott Joslin, “the father of diabetes care,” back in the day. Last week, we interviewed the American Diabetes Association’s CEO Larry Hausner on that organization’s ambitious plans for the next few years. FYI, Larry is also currently chair of the board of directors of the National Health Council (NHC), a national patient policy organization representing all people living with chronic illness.
