Today is the 8th annual Diabetes Blog Day, a online community activism initiative started by fellow type 1 and D-Blogger Gina Capone back in 2005 (when the online community was so very much smaller!).

When 1,500 people come together to talk diabetes and brainstorm on how to improve the patient experience, you can generally expect great things! Especially when it comes to the national conference series Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD), a group that always seems to “get it right” when addressing patient needs.
