Today is the 8th annual Diabetes Blog Day, a online community activism initiative started by fellow type 1 and D-Blogger Gina Capone back in 2005 (when the online community was so very much smaller!).

This year is the Seventh Annual D-Blog Day, started by the wonderful Gina Capone, founder of Diabetes Talkfest and moderator on JDRF’s Juvenation community site. Today, Nov. 9, is annual Diabetes Blog Day, thanks to community member Gina Capone, who founded this effort six years ago. The diabetes online community has come a darn long way in just a few short years. Today, Nov. 9, was dubbed the official “Annual Diabetes Blog Day” by Gina Capone of the Talkfest back in the “early days” of 2005.
