Something wicked this way comes! And its name is Halloween. As much as I enjoy the costumes and the candlelit parties, this holiday constitutes a true nightmare for those of us whose health is severely — and immediately — impacted by consuming sugary treats. Michelle Page Alswager is a long-time diabetes advocate, whose mission has taken on new meaning since the sudden and tragic passing of her son, Jesse, in February of this year at only 13.
