“Adherence” Is the New “Compliance”

You all know how much we hate the term “compliant,” and especially its antonym “noncompliant”— suggesting a bunch of naughty, misbehaving patients who are simply too lazy or stubborn to follow orders. Ugh!

I personally wasn’t able to attend the annual meeting of the American Association of Diabetes Educators this summer.  But I’ve been there a few times. Basal/Bolus Mix-and-Match
