November is nearly upon us, which means the biggest month in diabetes advocacy is about to begin! As most of you know, November is National Diabetes Awareness Month, and don’t forget to circle Nov. 14 in blue — that’s World Diabetes Day.

Diabetes Awareness Month comes to a close for another year today. I think we can all be proud that we did our very best to be heard. There were hundreds and thousands of blog posts, grassroots education campaigns, and local meet-ups.
We lit up the world!
We gave “Blue Fridays” a new meaning!
