In the world of diabetes devices, company execs, PR pros, sales reps and even doctors are often vague about when new products will hit the market and be available for us people with diabetes. Ten days ago, I got a last-minute invitation to attend a small Bay Area JDRF event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto, in the heart of Silicon Valley. This is where technology happens. “Mom, you have a new beep!”
