PROs:

  • multiple ways of viewing blood glucose entries
  • a lot of information about food (recipes and nutrition) that is difficult to otherwise find in one place
  • a user guide is built into the app

CONs:

  • no home screen, so navigation can be confusing
  • no way to place custom tags on blood sugar entries
  • no measurement of blood glucose in mmo/l (used outside the U.S.)
  • some aspects of the interface load slowly

PROs:

  • Keeps all meds/ doctors/ pharmacy info with you at all times
  • Also good if you have problems remembering to take medications

CONs:

  • haven’t figured out how to dismiss the reminder notification without turning the reminder off completely
  • doesn’t have any logging capabilities
  • some of the really useful tools, such as refill reminders, cost $14.99

PROs:

  • great to calculate how much sleep you are lacking throughout the day
  • gives you a lot of in-depth information about your sleep patterns

CONs:

  • only practical if you don’t move that much when you sleep, because it can’t detect movement from the nightstand
  •  puts a drain on your phone battery
