Six Degrees from Kevin Bacon: Raisin’ Some $$ for The Cause

Anyone remember that goofy Internet game Six Degrees from Kevin Bacon?  Well, yeah, it was originally intended to lampoon him and all celebrities and their hangers-on.  But good for Kev, for turning it into something useful.  He’s recently launched a new fundraising networking site called SixDegrees.org that’s supporting any charity of your choice with a chance of winning a matching donation from Kevin himself of up to $10,000!

Reasons to Celebrate

Happy Friday, and enjoy your holiday, everyone!  I’d like to share a few good reasons to smile (in no particular order):

Happy Thanksgiving! (Get Your Stocking Stuffers Here)

Happy Thanksgiving, People!  Strange, actually, to be wishing PWDs a happy time on such a voracious day of eating.  My plan is to stick to no more than 2 carb choices (yams and cranberries — I’ll skip the mashies and pie), and to use my nifty new food scale to count ‘em up.  Lucky for me, the party’s at my place, so I’ll have my scale nearby.  Shoulda done this years ago.
