A little Monday Madness, postponed this week to start your back-to-work New Year off with a smile.
How do you know you’re diabetic? When…
Any restaurant bragging about it’s amazing “pasta & pizza” is your definition of a Torture Chamber.
A really great day for you is defined as “90-120″ — which means nothing to most people you know.
Your “personal mission statement” is… um, “90-120.” Ditto on the 2nd statement above.

I Don’t Do Resolutions

No new specific diet or diabetes decrees over here. I gave that up a long time ago. The notion that I’m going to suddenly shed all my bad habits and “start over” being perfect is just a recipe for frustration. OMG, The Card We Need!

You may remember my mention nearly a year ago of the Behavioral Diabetes Institute’s notion to create some diabetes etiquette cards that will help “others” understand what is and is not appropriate to say to us PWDs on the topic of our diabetes.
