The holidays are upon us! Which for us PWDs means spending time with friends, family and coworkers, who are generally well-intentioned but often try to “help us out” with what they know from Oprah, or something they heard from the friend of a friend’s cousin who knows about diabetes from what he read while standing in the grocery store aisle.
