    I don’t drink much because it just doesn’t appeal to me. Besides, I never want alcohol to muddy the waters when I tell someone they’re a jerk. Being sober keeps me from having to repeat myself at another time, so I can regret the important things, like A-smile jeans, polyester shirts and my extensive collection of Barry Manilow records.

    I hope the nutritionist advised you not only about the potential rise in BG while enjoying a glass of wine but also about the potential for drop in BG early the day after the party – some of us PWDs are already prone to that – evening alcohol almost ensures it! i.e. I always follow that old caution re always having something to eat while enjoying the wine….Congratulations on reaching this milestone!

    i think you will find the cider raises your BG a LOT faster a LOT higher than a lite beer will … Cider is after all juice ..
