Have you ever heard about a diabetes product and wondered what kind of experience other PWDs (people with diabetes) have had with it? Now it’s easy to find out! Just browse through our new DiabetesMine Test Kitchen — a collection of video product reviews by people living with diabetes, i.e. those of us who know best how these products perform in the real world.
We have two new reviews to share with you today:
First, we have a review of the new, smaller OmniPod tubeless insulin pump system, by pumper Greg Nickleski.
Greg has had type 1 diabetes for three years, and is not a fan of needles or giving himself injections (who is?…) That’s why he loves the Omnipod, which requires just one little pinch and he’s good to go on insulin for about three days. He’s using the new, slimmer version of this product that now shows IOB (insulin on board) right on the home screen — an improvement many users were clamoring for.
Second, we have a review of Level Foods glucose gels reviewed by Kimberly Hislop.
Kimberly has had type 1 diabetes for 16 years and has seen new diabetes technology greatly improve her health, dropping her A1c from 13% to 8% within two months of trying new equipment. In our Test Kitchen, she reviews one of her favorite hypo treatments, Level Foods glucose gels. She likes the great taste of these gels and the fact that they come in convenient pouches.
We invite you to watch these reviews and share your own opinions about these products!
