Even though my son is only 8 years old, as a single mom I have begun teaching him self management of his diabetes.. or as we like to refer to is, LIVE-abetes. This book sounds amazing and I am excited to read it myself.

DMBooks has the best giveways! I learn about so many great books through these links!

I would love to have this book for my 17yr old T1D daughter, diagnosed in 2004 at 7.5 yrs of age. I have a 35 yr old T1D sis, diagnosed at age 13, who will also want to read it!

This DMBooks would be a blessing to have. My DD is a rising senior in highschool. I believe this book could give her great insight for her future.

I am the mother of two teenage type 1 diabetics. One will be a senior and the other will be a freshman, both in high school.
I would so love to read the DMBooks on young adults struggling with this disease, and then pass it on to them so that they will understand others struggles and that they are not alone!!

I would read this myself and then give it to my 18 year old niece who is starting college this fall. She has had Type I for 6 years. Thanks DMBooks.

It’s not for me, but I’d give this DMBOOKS to a friend whose T1 daughter is in the process of looking at colleges to attend.

I read her first book while I was in graduate school with T1D, which I didn’t have as an undergrad

Her first book was instructional and inspiring. Since I don’t have a T1D teenager or T1D child, I’m not entering, but hoping that a T1D teenager who may really need this book will get it. Those teenage years are tough enough without T1D.

This was a great review of a book that sounds like a must-read for young adults with T1D. I would love to win it for my cousin, Larissa, starting college in the fall and just recently diagnosed. DMBooks
