What a fabulous report! Tearing up as I read it. Teens with T1 are worthy of this investment. Sounds like the spending is very wise and the lives saved — priceless! Thank you for sharing this important program!

I’m so glad to hear about this initiative, and even happier that it’s saving lives and money. And understand this: Even if it did not save money, it would still be worth it. There are no budget cuts important enough to affect the well-being of patients.

I love a program that is a win-win-win. It’s good for patients, good for the country and makes financial sense. So few things hit all those marks. Hopefully, the ACA will be viewed as a cost-saving bonanza as it continues to expand through our country. Preventative medicine is sooo much cheaper than catastrophic health care!
