AADE Diabetes Goal Tracker App – Review

Reviewer Product Rating:

Diabetes advocate and lifestyle coach Ginger Vieira reviews the Goal Tracker app from the American Association of Diabetes Educators — and finds it rather disappointing.

  • very in-depth, gives a lot of detail into goal tracking
  • helpful reminder section for medication

  • can be very tedious to get through
  • requires a lot of set up
  • asks for too much background information

Thanks for such an informative review Ginger. It’s a shame that AADE hasn’t provided a set of default goals that pre-establish settings that a user can then modify. I’ll have to give it a spin and send them my thoughts. :-)

There are two things about this app that I really dislike.

First, having to use my Facebook account to register. I don’t want to have a link between my apps and my social media accounts. I find it invasive.

Second, there is no obvious way to easily delete my account once I decided I no longer wanted to try using it.
