YUM! I love broccoli, raw or cooked, except for the steamed-to-death variety. My favorite is roasting it, and I usually use this super easy recipe that has so much flavor bang for its buck: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/chili-garlic-roasted-broccoli-recipe/index.html

I love broccoli (okay, most green vegetables).
My favorite thing to do to any vegetable is oven-roast: 1) pre-heat oven to 475 or so, 2)spread a sheet of aluminum foil over a cookie sheet, 3) spread your chopped vegetable of choice (beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, whatever, tossing in a clove or two of garlic if you wish) over the cookie sheet, 4) coat with a tablespoon of olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste, 5) roast for ~20 minutes, stirring once in the middle. Enjoy the delicious goodness!
(also, cleanup consists of throwing away the aluminum foil.)

I’ve actually been turning to raw broccoli as a snack more often lately, as I try to tame my evening snacking. Love fresh broccoli cut up and chilled, and it’s a great low-carb option that I can munch on without much impact on my blood sugars. Of course, also have carrots, celery, peppers, and mushrooms in on that, but broccoli is my fave.
