    One of my spare metre’s is an Accucheck the looks similar. I think it is this one https://www.accu-chek.ca/ca/products/metersystems/compactplusgt.html It seems to work well, but still isn’t the smallest.

    I think a lot of all-in-one companies feel/are intimidated by the FDA.. There are quite a few all in one solutions avalible everywhere but the US… When will the FDA realize these devices are meant for single person use… Thats partly why you dont see any all in ones in us.. they are afraid that dumb people will use them on more than one person… like the problem with insulin pens…

    Im actually fond of the latest generation of the Accu Chek Mobile.. but it seems they have no plans to try to get it through the FDA at this time..

    All of these great ideas will be useless unless Medicare & insurance will cover. I fear the way things are going with the competitive bidding program, we’ll soon be limited to only one or 2 meter choices, & innovative ideas will be lost.
