    “Very active” is running 1.5 hours a day? I’d call that a conservative assessment because we are all “supposed” to be doing an hour of focused cardio each day and 20 minutes of strength training. Do most of us have time to spend two hours a day at the gym? No — but according to the folk who tell us how active we should be, and how active we must be to be healthy, that’s what we should be aiming for. Oh — and running means at or above 6mph (10-minute mile), and cycling means at or above 15mph (4-minute mile).
