Humor is the communication stealth weapon. It avoids the usual defenses that people erect (pun intended!) to filter out unpleasant topics. Cathy’s work is great. There’s plenty for her to work with using diabetes: the food police, diabetes horror stories as told by “helpful” acquaintances, the general cluelessness of the public about diabetes. I hope she considers other diabetes themes.
