Intriguing, yes, but unless it can send it’s data to my pump, or I can easily integrate its data with my pump’s data – not likely that I’ll go there.

This is insane. I love that they can do ANYTHING with a phone.

Wow! that’s cool. That’s like carrying our doctor in our pocket.

I hope you’ll be the first to inform us of this gadget’s arrival.

I had a Handspring Visor phone with a Freestyle Tracker module several years ago. Hopefully by integrating with both iOS and Android devices, this will last longer.

looks interesting – Im surprised that more diabetes hardware doesnt have a meter built in. I would think it would make sense for EVERY CGMS receiver and pump to have an integrated meter.

I love the integrated meter on my Cozmo. Its the MAIN reason I still use it even though the warranty was up over a year ago …

Im a huge fan of integration and size reduction. I have enough crap I have to take with me every where. Make it smaller, tougher and smarter…

Don’t be fooled by the look of this device. It feels cheap and I have my doubts over how long it will last in the real world.

The Android app has just been launched here in the UK but I can’t get it working with two of my Android devices so I won’t be using this meter and go back to using my Bayer Contour USB.

Shame really as it could have been so much better.

Why would I want this? It’s larger than a regular blood glucose meter. Useless. I’ll be waiting for the infrared sensor.
