Very cool idea and excellent work by Bob! Sort of reminds me of those wild music posters created for bands from the Strawberry Alarm Clock/ Jimi Hendrix/ Jefferson Airplane era. I’ve even got an idea of what to do with it (maybe even besides hanging it on my wall)

This is so cool, Mike! The art is amazing, your generosity to contribute to support DYFI, and the efforts of the Indy Pinstripers that allow more kids to go to d camp… this is an amazing story. My heartfelt thanks to Bob Keeney for creating such a cool piece of art for Diabetes Art Day. Needless to say, count me in, I’d be honored to win the artwork! DMineART

Your paragraph sums it up. Our son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 7 years old and it has been a constant rollercoast of numbers and emotions ever since. I love the story of how Bob decided to make the painting. We are going to try to make it down for the event because we love DYFI and my son loves summer camp there! Good luck with the “DMineART”!

Love how the poster’s creation came about! We are in WA, but I have lots of family in central IN.

This is a a beautiful piece done for DMineART. I wish we could come down to support the pinstripe event as it would be great to have my G4 embellished.

Hi! My name is Katie Martin, and I am posting this for the DMineART. I am a type 1 diabetic and I have been ever since I was 5 and 2 weeks old. I see the artwork as very creative, fun, colorful and so much more. The way that I see it, is that it is made for a diabetic. The blue ring lets us know about how much and how hard people are working for us. The red blood drop reminds me of all the blood that we have to give up, but also all of the hard work and blood that people have put in to find a cure for us. A few things that make the creation stand out is all of the details and how it is full of sparkles. I admire the way that you used the tinfoil painting on the ring. It is so generous to do such a thing, especially since it took you quite a while. Thank you so much for all of your support!
