I saw that you commented on a book you had read, mentioning folks you knew as being contributors. So, thought I’d ask you to read my book, published as an ebook on Kindle. I’m a type I Diabetic, diagnosed at age 10 and soon to celebrate the big 60 birthday. (clapping, whistling, jumping up and down–)

Any way, this May will mark my half century as a Type I Diabetic. Already an author, I thought, hey, why not write a book about living WELL with Diabetes? I’ve done it, why not share it.

Anyway, this is a link to my book if you’d be interested in reading it, written with a touch of humor, good information, lots of research and personal experience; promise you’ll love it. Ok, you’re a guy—you’ll like it, love is such a scary word for guys—(rolling my eyeballs)

While I’m a bit disappointed that I wasn’t asked to write for this book (kidding!) I’d love to read about what other men may have to say. DMbooks

I definitely need to get myself a copy of this to share with the teens and youth WD that I work with. I’d love to show them that me telling them life will get better is not just me speaking, but the diabetes community!

Have followed Amy’s blog for 8 years, my son was diagnosed one month before turning 17 – I am trying to figure out a gift for Christmas … this book (DMBooks) would be a perfect fit. One gift was his left (inner) arm (above the wrist) tatoo (medic alert w/snakes) and Type I written in cursive. ~Rob’s Mom
