Fabulous post! I’ve been telling my friends for years (PWDs and PwithoutD) that I feel this disease is harder on guys than on gals for the simple reason that all girls (young and old) are accustomed to carrying handbags, while most guys don’t. With all the stuff one should have on hand, not having a purse puts someone at a great disadvantage, when it comes to hauling all the necessary equipment around. It’s great that some male PWDs don’t mind using a bag!

I’ve come to the conclusion that my diabetic murse is generally too SMALL for my needs. I need space for snacks and lunch (and maybe a book). An REI had a larger copy of the murse I now have. I must get out there and look for it again.
