Talk about “patient-centered design.” Anyone paying attention to what we go through in real-life (often after dark)?
We love the heck out of T1 blogger and talented illustrator Kim Vlasnik, who once again knows exactly what PWDs want.

love it, kim! i’d especially love to have the laser security system in the kitchen!
Haha great! I defo need the last one have eaten lots of choc on countless 2am lows…
This is seriously awesome, Kim! I so needed one of those moving sidewalks last night… it took me like 20 minutes to get the mind-power to finally figure out I needed to walk there.
I’d like to order the moving walkway please!
I needed that fan last night! I don’t need the moving sidewalk because I keep stuff next to my bed but the laser is needed for my Smarties container.
i’ll take one of each please!
funny stuff
Fortunately, it’s been a long while since I experienced that sort of low, but those pictures sure describe what it’s like. There’s also this feeling that one (PWD) wishes non-PWDs had a clue just how annoying diabetes can be. Who else needs to waken up, against their will, to treat a low BG? It’s totally different from a “normal” person (non-PWD!) raiding the refrigerator at night, isn’t it?
!
So true! Are those fans come in different colors too?
I agree that sometimes we wish for other people to understand what it’s like to live with Diabetes.
