Ouch… we’re feeling the pain just looking at it!
This week’s guest cartoonist is Terry Keelan, a type 1 PWD located in Southern California, and one of the winners of our Diabetes Chuckle contest from way back in 2009. You can also check out some of Terry’s snarky videos on YouTube. Thanks Terry!

That’s what it’s surely like for those of you who change your lancet once a YEAR!
Leighann, I know I joke about changing my lancet when I change the batteries in my fire alarm. I’m really not that bad.
Terry, thanks for the laugh. For some reason this reminded me of the terrible first lancets where you got to watch the very large lancet (big today’s standards) rocketing towards your finger. Kerchunk!
Very funny! Haha. Keep these coming. We need a cheerful lift like this sometimes.
I’m old enough to remember having my finger lanced with a naked blade. I also remember getting shots at school when they used the same needle on everybody. My last name starts with a W, and by the time they got to me, that thing was dull.
