This year is the Seventh Annual D-Blog Day, started by the wonderful Gina Capone, founder of Diabetes Talkfest and moderator on JDRF’s Juvenation community site. D-Blog Day is essentially one day a year in which everyone in the DOC is encouraged to write about their experiences blogging about diabetes — as a way to increase the chatter even more, and also to include bloggers who may not necessarily identify themselves as D-bloggers but who are affected by diabetes.
For the past couple of years, Gina has created writing prompts for participants, but this year, she’s switched it up a bit by asking everyone to create a scrapbook page for themselves and their blog. These visual memory pages will then be compiled into a book and displayed at the Children with Diabetes Friends for Life conference next summer. So cool!
Here is our contribution to the project:

Happy D-Blog Day, everyone! You have made our lives and our work so much richer!
