Or is it Impressions? Either way, today is the Second Annual Diabetes Art Day, a day to visually document your experience(s) with diabetes. Founder Lee Ann Thill talked with us last week about this grassroots awareness day, and now the community is buzzing with creative energy as folks of all ages show off their masterworks embodying how they feel about life with diabetes.
Of course, we at the ‘Mine tend to gravitate towards words to express ourselves, but nonetheless, we do have our own submissions to share.

Don’t forget to check out the entire gallery of work at the Diabetes Art Day website, and upload your own masterpiece!

Love the submissions – both ring so true, as D is always beckoning and surfaces in even the most unusual spots! Thanks for sharing, Amy and Allison!
wow yeah these are both insightful in their own ways! thanks for sharing!
Way to get your art on, ladies!
That little girl has TONS of talent!! The details of the meter, and the wood flooring behind it, and the VERY accurate descriptions of what life with diabetes is like are literally astounding! She’s definitely a winner!
