Allison and I have been at the AADE (American Association of Diabetes Educators) Annual Meeting in Las Vegas since Wednesday. It’s over 100 degrees outside, massively air-conditioned and buzzing with energy here inside the Mandalay Bay resort.

Hey PWDs: Have you ever read the headline of an article and thought to yourself, Gee, that sounds familiar? That’s what we thought last week when news of a nano-tattoo for monitoring blood sugar started popping up again. Although we’re still in the height of summer, it won’t be too long before the school bell is ringing. While most parents are somewhat relieved to get their kids off the couch and back into a routine, for parents of CWDs, it can cause all new headaches and grief.
