With all the medical gear we PWDs have to carry around, it can be difficult to find the perfect bag to comfortably tote around all this stuff. (See Wil’s rant on the man-purse for PWDs, for example.) At the AADE expo last week, we saw a few new options worth mentioning. All of these companies are also started by entrepreneurs — and we do love supporting small D-businesses here at the ‘Mine!

As we noted last week, one particularly fun thing about about attending the AADE’s Annual Meeting is the plethora of consumer and patient-facing products on display. This year, we saw three interesting things aimed at alleviating the pain of shots and finger pricks — a very minor concern for doctors, probably, but potentially HUGE for those of us who hate needles (which I’m assuming includes all of us!)

Before we left for the AADE conference last week, we had several requests for more info about the new FDA-approved Spring universal infusion set.
