I was so excited to sign on and see Mike! Mike, thank you for sharing your story. It has been my pleasure to watch your growth since your diagnosis with all that you have endured. Stay strong, and know that you are making a difference! And what an amazing article in USA Today, so proud to know you and call you my friend.

Way to go, Mike! Stay strong, and keep working at it, and enjoy every day for the gift it is. And tell Amy thanks for making this blog applicable to Type 2′s as well as Type 1′s — proof that she knows we’re all in this together!
