    Thanks for sharing both of these great and valuable perspectives! It’s interesting how the motivations can be so vary similar in some ways, but so different for all of us in this Community. I’m enjoying reading everyone’s perspectives and how those differ sometimes based on how many different life stages that person goes through. Very good reads all around!

    Thanks to both of these awesome ladies! It’s great to hear two different points of view. I’m still new to the ODC, but I’m learning a lot from you guys!

    I had a relationship that inspired me to really reevaluate how I take care of myself… my boyfriend broke up with me because he “couldn’t date [me] and the diabetes.” Well sorry, pal, but it’s a package deal! I realized that the only person I needed to motivate me was ME, because everything else is secondary to my health while I get the hang of this diabetes thing. In a sense, my diagnosis was probably the best thing to happen to me. And that guy was a jerk anyway. :)

    I always love to read both perspective in one post – and this month was no exception! Our loves, our families and our inspirations are all great reasons to take great care of our health!!
