In a recent post about the possibility of cutting medical coverage for glucose test strips via Washington state’s Heath Technology Assessment program (HTA), we mistakenly implied that JDRF was not sufficiently involved in advocacy efforts to thwart this potentially disastrous decision.
In fact, the ‘Mine has learned that JDRF was quite involved, although there was no independent statement on JDRF letterhead included in the final report documenting public comments and responses.
