A new year! A new beginning? Or just an excuse for a really fun night?
Either way…
I couldn’t resist reprinting a few fave New Year’s quotes that seem particularly apropos to my life with diabetes — and maybe they’ll make you smile, too:
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves. ~Bill Vaughan
Youth is when you’re allowed to stay up late on New Year’s Eve. Middle age is when you’re forced to. ~Bill Vaughn
Many people look forward to the new year for a new start on old habits. ~Author Unknown
May all your troubles last as long as your New Year’s resolutions. ~Joey Adams
and finally -
Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better (person). ~Benjamin Franklin
See Y’All in 2011!

Thanks! Great quotes to remember – or copy and paste so I will remember them.

Hope you all have a wonderful and successful 2011!
Great quotes! I especially liked the one about May your troubles last as long as your New Year’s Resolutions — because I actually made one this year — to do 10 pliés 3 times a day to strengthen thigh muscles. As an exercise hater, I think this is a small goal, but doable, and I hope it will last longer than my troubles, LOL!
