Diabetes Awareness Month comes to a close for another year today. I think we can all be proud that we did our very best to be heard. There were hundreds and thousands of blog posts, grassroots education campaigns, and local meet-ups.

Did you know that more people are diagnosed with diabetes in the colder months of the year? Also, type 1 diabetes is more common in European countries than in African or South American countries.
