    Chris — great post. I especially appreciate your advice on “not getting too worked up over a high blood sugar.” Its all just information. Take it and use it to help you make adjustments in your diabetes management, and keep going!

    Hello Crhis,

    Although I don’[t have diabetes, as a Dietitian, I am always in contact with people with the condition since I teach about overweight and the prevention or managing of diabetes. It is posts like this that teach me how to handle certain aspects of the disease when I talk to my clients.

    I feel guilty when I eat a lot. My mother says that could cause diabetes. I try to exercise at least 40 minutes everyday but the problem is that I eat too much and am overweight. I will get myself tested for diabetes as soon as possible. Many family members suffer from this terrible disease. Thanks for educating the public about diabetes.

    I really appreciated your tip about not stressing over one high reading. It is true. I realized the same thing eventually and wish I wouldn’t have wasted so much precious time in the past freaking out over high blood sugar episodes. Now I just take action quickly and push worry out of my head. Nice post :)

    great insight! n it does make you scared when the reading at some time is high. but i guess we dont have to get get worked up( as you have put down.)
