I was going to wish you all “Happy” Memorial Day, but I don’t think that’s protocol.
This seemed like a great day to re-visit this dLife success story of an Army Sergeant on active duty who was diagnosed with diabetes:
Being a soldier with diabetes ain’t easy, but it can be done.
Meanwhile, the authorities note: “If you have a strong desire to join the military and a history of diabetes, then document your whole medical and visit your local recruiter. There are alot of occupations in any military, not only on in front line service.”
For example, here’s another story about a guy with diabetes who insisted on finding a place for himself in this country’s armed forces.
