After months of preparation, today I am indescribably excited and proud to kick off the 2010 DiabetesMine™ Design Challenge, an online competition to encourage creative new tools for improving life with diabetes!
You know the drill: Do you have an idea for an innovative new diabetes device or web application? This is your chance to win big, and potentially help transform life with diabetes for millions of people.

This competition is open to all ― patients, parents, caregivers, students, entrepreneurs, developers, engineers, etc.

1. I have been a type 1 diabetic since the fall of 1954, 14 years old.
2. I have been using an insulin pump since 06/13/2003.
3. I find this a great improvement for myself in controlling my diabetes.
4. Real-Time CGM with insulin pumps is a great idea, but I find that the system does not work efficiently good or correct.
5. THIS SYSTEM NEEDS SOME REAL WORK TO BE MORE USEFUL!!!
