There seems to be an explosion of medical information on the web, blogs, tweets, etc. Would luv to support the diabetes movement in any way i can.

I’m so glad you found our meet-up! It is always exciting to find GF-solidarity as well as the diabetes kind. I haven’t had a pump before, but actually am in the process of getting a minimed now. (sometimes I mumble in person though )

I’m impressed that these women founded their own support groups. I rely on in-person and online support and appreciate the advice and camaraderie I’ve found through them over the years. A similar approach was taken in DC not too long ago: AT1 (adults with type 1; online at http://at1jdrfcapitolchapter.ning.com/ ). It is great to see this happening.
