Happy New Year!

Thank you all for visiting and reading and participating throughout the year. I am eternally grateful.

Enjoy your New Year’s celebrations ♦

In very brief, we are looking forward to our annual gourmet dinner, created by the Master Chef Birthday Boy himself, my husband (yes, his birthday is on New Year’s Eve. Neat). Thankfully, it’s a seafood feast this year, ’cause my glucose control has gone to hell in the proverbial handbasket over the holidays. But that’s a post for another day…

Happy 2009, Everyone!

  1. Happy New Year to you too, Amy! My glucose control has been less than stellar this holiday season as well, probably worse than any recent years. 2009 is a clean slate and we’ll all do better next year. Take care!

  2. Happy New Year!

  3. I am with you – my glucose control was in the proverible toilet the last few weeks. The smartest thing I did this holiday season was see my endo at the beginning of December before the onslaught of holiday goodies (I am a self confessed sweets aholic and I was awful this holiday season) so I don’t have to face an A1C until March (plenty of time to get back on the wagon).

Here’s to a happy and healthy 2009 for all!
    Joan

  4. happy new year…

  5. Have a very Happy New Year Amy!

  6. Happy New Year Amy! Not sure if you knew, but Monday night on the show Intervention on A&E, they will be showcasing a Type 1 diabetic who does not take care of himself and has been near death multiple times. His family is staging an intervention. I think it will be something worth watching.

  7. Wish you all a very happy new year !!

  8. Happy New Year, all.
