		<description>As the proud parent of the under-18 winner, I have to say kudos to Amy for organizing this. For Max, the biggest problem with diabetes is frustration -- he doesn&#039;t want to stop to fiddle with blood sugar testing, he wants to GO. It was great to see him take that frustration and use it in a constructive way, and it just wouldn&#039;t have happened without the challenge. 

It is appropriate that the challenge to design &quot;a fresh idea for a product to help people live better with diabetes&quot; was hosted here, because Diabetes Mine is unlike any other diabetes website; a wonderful mix of information, opinion and possibility.  

Thank you, Amy, for being a terrific, honest, and innovative advocate for all of us.</description>
