hi everyone! This is great work you are doing. I am trying to locate Dr. Matthew Corcoran since he left the East Coast. I worked with him as a CDE in a DM in Pregnancy program and need to reach him. If anyone knows how or where to contact him, please forward my email. Thanks so much for all you do for diabetes and the patients that live with this daily.
Thanks, Susan

I found this website a great source of alternative whole food. I have managed to run a marathon last year and feel sort of normal! Its always super to find others who are looking to motivate others in their struggles to live life to the fullest!

And how cool is Aaron's story? Very inspirational - I can't wait until the book is available...

Can't say I've met too many endurance athletes with T1, but great to know of this organization.

I've been in the endurance MTB scene for a handful of years now, and there are a lot of great resources out there. Nutrition during racing is my biggest challenge, and Hammer Nutrition is the best out there that produces diabetic friendly products (disclaimer; they are a team sponsor), but I would use their products even if they weren't. Cheers!
Chris

Hey Amy! Kindred spirits indeed ;) You're blog has inspired me to do a LOT of things, like try the Omnipod, try arm/shoulder sites, and start blogging! Thanks for all of that.

These guys are an inspiration! Too bad I can't take the kind of time off to enjoy this :( I have a friend who is a T1 triathlete and he does virtual coaching through www.fit4d.com. Might be worth checking out for athletes with diabetes.
